Nick has been involved with motorsport for most his life and has had good success in everything he has done from the odd bit of Karting at club level to Racing in the Sidecar-cross World Championships.
Nick is a former 3 time ACU British Sidecar-cross Champion and regular top 10 finisher in the World Championship, finishing 8th in the 1992 season.
Last year was Nick’s first year in Legends, Racing under Burnett Motorsport he went on to win the National and Scottish Rookie Championships- the first time this has ever been achieved. Nick was a regular top 10 finisher in both Championships, finishing 3rd overall at Mallory Park in the Nationals with the 2nd fastest lap.
Ending the year 7th overall in the National Championship and 9th overall in the Scottish Championship. He was also 1 of a few UK drivers that went to race at Spa for the European Cup coming home having finished 3rd overall. Nick competed in the Legends Winter Trophy at the end of the year, a successful weekend saw Nick go home as the overall Winner.
In 2010 Nick was running his own team for the first time in Legends with his son Dean joining him in the Brace Motorsport Team and competing in the National Championship.
It was to be a very successful year for the new team, both Nick and Dean taking there first race wins, Nick at Croft and Dean at Brands Hatch.The results gained during the year proved the cars were very competitive.
Nick finished the year 7th Overall in the National Championship and 10th in the Masters World Championship (points).
2011 will see Nick and Brace Motorsport again compete in the National Championship with targets to improve on a great 2010.
